Phoenix's Diana Taurasi teamed with current Suns All-Star forward Shawn Marion and former
Suns All-Star forward Dan Majerle to win the RadioShack Shooting Stars competition on Saturday. On Friday, Taurasi participated in The McDonald’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented
by Sprite as part of NBA All-Star 2005 in Denver.

Diana Taurasi and actor Jeffrey Donovan take a break from filming Believe in Me on
location in Clovis, New Mexico. Taurasi cameos as a basketball coach in the film, expected to be released in 2005.
Mercury guard Diana Taurasi's Rookie-of-the-Year season will be recognized when the Suns
host the Lakers on Nov. 19 at America West Arena.

Diana Taurasi Named to All-WNBA First Team
The WNBA announced today that Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi has been named to the All-WNBA First Team,
presented by Bud Light. The No. 1 pick of the Mercury in the 2004 WNBA Draft, Taurasi led the Mercury in scoring and was fourth
overall in the WNBA, posting an average of 17.0 points per game. In her debut season, Taurasi helped turn the Mercury from
a league worst 8-26 in 2003 to a 17-17 record in 2004. (Go to the Articles page for the rest of the story!!)

Taurasi Named Rookie of the Year!!!!!!!!!!
Mercury guard Diana Taurasi capped off a whirlwind year by being introduced as the WNBA Rookie-of-the-Year on Monday in New York. Selected by Phoenix with the first overall pick in the 2004 WNBA Draft weeks after capturing
her third NCAA title with Connecticut, Taurasi led all rookies in scoring and led the Mercury to a nine-game improvement over

Even though her arrival didn't ensure a postseason berth for the Mercury, Diana Taurasi
proved she was the real deal in her first WNBA season. The UConn alum finished her first pro season ranked third in the league in total points
and helped Phoenix reach the .500 mark for the first time since the 2000 season. (Check the Articles page for more on this

Anna DeForge and Plenette Pierson posted 24 points apiece Sunday as Phoenix beat Houston 78-64 in the season finale at America West Arena. Diana Taurasi concluded a fantastic rookie campaign with
